Peaceful Actions is a European platform established by various civil society organizations joining forces to create a collective movement for human rights, raise awareness, and take action. As Peaceful Actions, believing that no one can be free while others are oppressed in the world, we aim to be the voice of victims subjected to human rights violations and develop a network with local partners operating worldwide to promote human rights.
Through our expanding partnerships with various human rights organizations and our network consisting of grassroots organizations, we seek to connect with organizations and initiatives aiming to defend human rights worldwide and build sustainable peace.
Through our established network, we highlight the work of local peace builders, facilitate their connections with like-minded organizations, and draw attention to their efforts to share their goals with a broader international community.
Women’s Rights
Peaceful Actions emphasizes that the empowerment of women is at the core of human rights advocacy and stresses this to all partners with whom it shares a common base. Women’s rights are human rights!
We strongly believe that as long as we force women to be submissive and accept dangerous and degrading roles in society, justice and lasting peace in the world will not be possible.
Media Freedom
Peaceful Actions aims to support the safety of journalists and the resilience of media organizations, oppose attempts to restrict internet and social media access, and strengthen critical thinking and media literacy.
We firmly believe that a free, independent, and pluralistic media based on freedom of information and expression is essential for human rights.
Fight Against Torture
In addition to recognizing the prevalence of torture worldwide and the need to take active steps to combat it, Peaceful Actions also aims to prevent all forms of torture, advocate for international protection for victims forced to flee their countries, and prevent the forced return of individuals at risk of torture in their own countries.
Children’s Rights
Peaceful Actions believes that children are our greatest assets, both today and tomorrow, for a peaceful, just, inclusive, and prosperous world.
