We reiterate our call once again; all imprisoned journalists should be released without delay. As persistent as the government is in controlling journalism, we are equally persistent in protecting our profession\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Additionally, according to the report;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Journalists attacked: 6<br\/>Mistreatment: 1<br\/>Journalists prevented from news coverage: 4 incidents<br\/>Journalists under investigation: 6<br\/>Journalists facing lawsuits: 2<br\/>Journalists sentenced: 5 people to 12 years, 4 months, 12 days in prison<br\/>Ongoing trials of journalists: 30 cases, 46 journalists<br\/>Violations against journalists in prisons: 3<br\/>Newspapers penalized with advertisement bans: 1 newspaper for 3 days<br\/>RT\u00dcK (Radio and Television Supreme Council) penalties: 2<br\/>Internet access restrictions: 30 news items<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Dicle Firat Journalists Association (DFG) released its monthly report on rights violations against the press and press workers.
