After the final judgment is read in the TBMM General Assembly, Gergerlio\u011flu&#8217;s parliamentary membership will be revoked. Thus, the imprisonment process will begin for Gergerlio\u011flu, whose immunity will be lifted.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The 16th Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court upheld the 2-year and 6-month prison sentence given to HDP Kocaeli Deputy \u00d6mer Faruk Gergerlio\u011flu for the crime of &#8216;making terrorist organization propaganda&#8217;. This decision is an important step for the revocation of Gergerlio\u011flu&#8217;s parliamentary membership and the imprisonment process. <\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FIRST, PARLIAMENTARY MEMBERSHIP AND IMMUNITY WILL BE REMOVED<\/h5>\n\n<p>The Supreme Court&#8217;s final decision regarding human rights defender and Kocaeli deputy \u00d6mer Faruk Gergerlio\u011flu will first be notified to the TBMM.
