Report on Enforced Disappearances in Turkey

The ‘Solidarity with Others’ association has compiled a report on cases of enforced disappearances in Turkey. The report discusses the pressure placed on the opposition after July 15 and states that human rights violations have risen to unprecedented levels over time.

From the report:

“The arbitrary detention of tens of thousands of people has been widely documented, but the practice of deprivation of liberty was not limited to official detentions and arrests. Individuals associated with the Gülen movement, a faith-based group in particular, faced enforced disappearances.”

The report examines 25 cases that have occurred since 2016 in detail.
