March for Justice to ECtHR Has Begun

Thousands of people from different European countries are protesting in Strasbourg, France, to draw attention to unlawful practices in Turkey and to make the voices of millions who have suffered rights violations heard.

The action, organized under the leadership of the Peaceful Actions Platform, began at 12:00 in front of the Council of Europe.

Thousands of people, young and old, will march to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) chanting slogans and carrying banners that read “Delayed Justice Is Not Justice”, “Be the Voice of the Voiceless”, and “Time for Justice”.

At the end of the march, victims, leaders of international civil society organizations, lawyers, politicians, activists, journalists, and artists will gather in front of the ECtHR and call for action, saying “Take action now”.
